CANCELLATION POLICY

Any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 72 hours (until midnight of the third day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) after signing the contract will receive a complete refund. If a student cancels their enrollment within the first three scheduled class days, they will receive a complete refund. However, the school may keep up to $100 for administrative fees and any necessary extra expenses that were incurred during the attended portion of the program and were clearly stated in the enrollment agreement.

REFUND POLICY

  1. Refunds will be calculated based on the scheduled duration of the course and the date of the last attendance. Leaves of absence, suspensions, and school holidays shall not be included in the calculation of scheduled class attendance.
  2. The termination effective date for reimbursement purposes will be the earliest among the following options:
    1. The final day of attendance if the student is expelled by the school.
    2. The date on which the student’s written notification is received; or
    3. Ten school days after the student’s final date of attendance.
  3. If the student pays tuition and fees before starting school and decides not to attend after the 72-hour cancellation period, the school can keep up to $100 in administrative fees for the entire residential program or synchronous distance education course.
  4. Suppose a student enrolls in a residential or synchronous distance education program and subsequently withdraws or is terminated after the cancellation period. In that case, the educational institution is permitted to keep a maximum of $100 as administrative fees for the entire program. The minimum refund for any remaining tuition and fees will be calculated based on the proportion of hours remaining in the course or program that the student has been charged for, compared to the total number of hours in that portion of the course or program. However, if a student has completed 50 percent or more of the total hours on the termination date, they will not be eligible for a refund.
  5. Refunds for additional expenses incurred by the student, such as books, tools, or other supplies, will be processed independently from refunds for tuition and other academic costs. The student is exempt from purchasing instructional resources, books, and tools until they are necessary. Upon purchasing these materials, no refund will be issued. To receive a complete refund, the school has the right to deduct expenses for certain products from the return if these items were essential for the part of the program that was attended and were clearly mentioned in the enrollment agreement. All materials that are not necessary for the attended section of the program must be included in the refund.
  6. Suppose a student withdraws from a course or program after completing more than 50 percent of it for a reason unrelated to their academic performance and asks for a grade at the time of withdrawal. In that case, they will receive a grade of “incomplete.” They will also have the opportunity to re-enroll in the course or program within the next 12 months without having to pay additional tuition for the remaining portion.
  7. Complete reimbursement of all tuition and fees is owed and can be refunded in each of the subsequent situations:
    1. The school does not accept the enrollee.
    2. In the event that the school discontinues the course of instruction, thereby preventing the student from completing it; or
    3. If the student’s enrollment was obtained due to any false or misleading information in the school’s advertising, promotional materials or statements made by the school’s owner or representatives.

In cases where there are program shortcomings or violations of standards for career schools and universities, a full or partial refund may be warranted.

REFUND POLICY FOR STUDENTS CALLED TO ACTIVE MILITARY SERVICE

A student enrolled in a school or college who leaves the institution due to being called to active duty in a military service of the United States or the Texas National Guard has the choice to select one of the following alternatives for each program they are enrolled in:

  1. If a student withdraws from the program, any tuition, fees, or other charges that have been paid in advance will be refunded proportionally. Additionally, any unpaid tuition, fees, or other charges for the portion of the program that the student did not complete will be canceled.
  2. A student who is discharged from active military duty has the option to receive a grade of incomplete for the courses in the program excluding courses for which the student has already received a grade on their transcript. They also have the right to re-enroll in the program, or a similar program if the original program is no longer available within one year of their discharge without having to pay additional tuition, fees, or charges, except for any unpaid balance from the original tuition, fees, and charges for books.
  3. Alternatively, the student may be assigned an appropriate final grade or credit for the courses in the program if the instructor or instructors determine that the student has:
    1. satisfactorily completed at least 90 percent of the required coursework for the program and
    2. demonstrated sufficient mastery of the program material to receive credit for completing the program.

The process of refund payment shall be fully finalized, either through negotiation or by crediting the appropriate account(s), within 60 days after the termination becomes effective.

REFUND POLICY FOR PROGRAMS LASTING 40 HOURS OR LESS

  1. Refunds will be calculated based on the duration of enrollment, which will be determined by the number of clock hours completed on the course.
  2. The effective date of termination for reimbursement purposes shall be determined by either:
    1. the final date of attendance or
    2. the date of receipt of written notice from the student, whichever is earlier.
  3. If tuition and fees are paid before the student enters school and the student does not attend, the school can keep a maximum of $100.
  4. If the student fails to enroll in the program, withdraws, or is expelled before completing the program, they will receive a refund proportional to the remaining class hours compared to the total number of class hours in the program.
  5. A complete reimbursement of all tuition and fees is owed in each of the subsequent situations:
    1. The school does not accept the enrollee.
    2. In the event that the school discontinues the program of instruction, preventing the student from completing it; or
    3. If the student’s enrollment was obtained due to any false or misleading information in the school’s advertising or promotional materials, or through misrepresentations made by the school’s owner or representatives.

ATTENDANCE

All students must be present and punctual for all planned classes. In the event of a student experiencing an emergency, we shall consult the readmission/cancellation and refund policy. If a student is away for a period of one to two days, they are required to compensate for the missed time in addition to the regular class hours. Any student who consistently arrives more than fifteen minutes late for class will have their tardiness documented. If the amount of tardiness reaches or exceeds four hours, it will be regarded as an absence from the class. Failure to attend class for more than two days will result in termination from the program. Currently, we would like to direct your attention to the rules on cancellations and refunds. Students are prohibited from clocking in before the designated time unless an instructor is present and ready to provide instruction.

The fee for the make-up class is $15 per hour.

PROGRESS POLICY

Students must maintain a minimum grade of 70% to continue participating in the program. They are limited to a maximum of two days of class absence. Attendance for military students must not exceed 20% of the total class time.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Students receive a verbal assessment at the conclusion of each week regarding their performance in the class. A written grade report will only be provided upon request.

READMISSION POLICY

In the event of an emergency causing a student to end their enrollment, they may be allowed to return if a resolution has been reached. Students who have been previously enrolled in the program are not eligible for any reimbursement of program costs. Students are only permitted to recycle in the subsequent scheduled class. If the student fails to attend the class, the cancellation/refund policy will be implemented.

EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT

The assurance of securing a job is not provided. Every student is notified about this restriction during orientation and also in the catalog. FATASHHEALTHCARE will provide vocal recommendations for each student on the day of graduation. Written references will be provided at every student’s request.

JOB RESEARCH SKILLS

The curriculum does not cover job research skills such as job leads, resumes, and interview techniques. FATASHHEALTHCARE provides this service upon particular request from the student.

ATTENDANCE

Students are not allowed to be absent on the first or second day of class. The maximum allowable number of days a student can be absent is two (2). Attendance is compulsory, and a medical certificate does not exempt students from being absent.

TARDINESS

If you arrive one (1) minute late to class, you will be obligated to stay after class to compensate for the lost time. If someone is not present after 15 minutes, it will be seen as an absence and dealt with accordingly.

MAKE-UP WORK

Students who are absent or unable to attend class must complete any missed assignments or tests later when the instructor is accessible. Make-up classes incur an extra charge of $15.00 per hour.

The policy of interruption or termination due to bad work or attendance.

Also known as the “3-strike rule,” entails providing the student with three notifications regarding their unsatisfactory progress or participation. Upon receiving the third notification, the student will be expelled. Sleeping and cell phone usage are strictly prohibited during lectures, lab, or clinical.

  1. For the first offense, you will be given a verbal warning.
  2. For a second offense, you will be provided with a written statement.
  3. For the third violation, you will be required to exit the program.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

  • 90 – 100% = A
  • 80 – 89% = B
  • 70 – 79% = C

Percentages below 70% are considered unacceptable. The minimum acceptable passing grade is 70%. Students must complete a daily assessment on the content taught the day before. If a student is late for a planned test, they will be given a grade of zero for that test. Students will be permitted to take make-up tests if they provide a doctor’s excuse. If a student fails to maintain a grade average of 70%, they will be expelled, and the regulation regarding cancelation and refunds will be implemented.

UNSATISFACTORY PROGRESS

Three exams with scores below 70%, three instances of unexcused tardiness, and two unexcused absences. Students who fail to make adequate progress will be placed on probation for the whole term of the class.

If you have outstanding financial obligations to this university at the time of my graduation, your certificate of completion and transcript may be withheld. (This will encompass monetary aid.)
